Q. How much is a sentence?
A. One sentence will cost £1. A sentence is 100 characters. So, if you enter 250 characters that will cost £2.50.
Q. How many sentences can I submit?
A. You can submit as many sentences as you wish, and as many times as you wish. You can write a full page if you want!
Q. How will my name appear in the book?
A. Your sentence will be suffixed with a number. This number will be printed in the appendix along with your name and location! For an example of this please see the 'sample authors' section on the homepage. (Please note that we will not disclose any email addresses entered into the system).
Q. How old do I have to be?
A. You can be any age to submit a sentence. All you need is a valid credit or debit card and permission from the card holder
Q. How long will it be before you publish the book?
A. Our aim is to publish the first book after every 100,000 authors, and one big book at the end, so be quick, tell your friends and family!
Q. Are the books free?
A. No. Production and printing costs will have to be met, a small price to pay for your name in print!. If you submit your email address, we will update you on the cost of the book and when its due for publishing.
Q. Can I change my mind after submitting my sentence?
A. You do get a chance to amend your sentence, but once you have submitted your sentence it will be printed in the book for all to see.
Q. What restrictions are there?
A. There are no restrictions, however, under no circumstances does One Million Authors Limited have any obligation to check accuracy or truthfulness of content submitted, nor does it accept liability for any entry submitted.
Q. Can I choose a particular number for my sentence, say 100,000?
A. No, sentences will be logged in numerical order. However, from time to time, we may auction special sentences eg. First sentence, first paragraph, or first page on Ebay, so look out for these.
Q. If the book/s aren’t printed do I get a refund?
A. Unfortunately not. Whilst we will do our very best to print the books, One Million Authors Limited do not accept responsibility for books not going to print. With your help in spreading the word One Million Authors can be published sooner and you can be a part of history.
Q. Can I submit my sentence in any language?
A. Yes
